Bookcity Company was established in the year 1996.Bookcity is aimed to promotion of books and book reading, culture and accessibility to the foreign sources.

1- Import of adult foreign books from the first class Publishers of the world in various languages to be supplied to the shops of Bookcity and different fairs. 2- Import of Books and educational aids for children and youths is one of the other activities of Bookcity.

Bookcity by inaugurating specialized fairs of children and youth books in winter 1996 has attained one of the foremost institutes in this important cultural movement and Bookcity by obtaining sole agency from the publishers and distributors especially in the field of first class educational products and supply of various goods has achieved good standing and is considered as a reference to parents, school and nurseries.

3- Comprehensive data bank of Bookcity by accepting orders of foreign books and publications from scientific and cultural centers is providing all the requirements of customers in connection with cultural products.

4- Inauguration of various fairs with different issues In proportion to season and place o inauguration of fair is a wide range of work which the Bookcity has performed in the path of its goals in Iran.

5- preliminary procurement of Quranic shop and fair with complete set of Quranic products and goods in relation to the Quran from different parts of world is one of the activities of this company which this specializes set is unique in its tyoe throughout the Islamic countries.

6- Import of audio CD(CD of classic Music) from the first class publishers is also  within the framework of activities of company
